WHAT DOES 'NAMASTE" MEAN?
"Namaste". This gesture is an acknowledgement of one soul to another. "Nama" means bow; "as" means I; and "te" means you. Therefore, Namaste literally means "bow me you" or "I bow to you”. This gesture is a deep form of respect and a wonderful way to seal your yoga practice and hard work. This gesture is something our instructors normally share at the end of class.
